GUNDA was chosen to deliver professional engineering design, construction administration, and development support services for completion of infrastructure being developed by the Tomball Economic Development Corporation (TEDC).  The Tomball (TEDC) Business & Technology Park is a ninety-seven and a half (97.5) acre property generally located in the northwestern corner of Hufsmith-Kohrville and Holderrieth Road within the City of Tomball, TX.

GUNDA’s Project Manager worked with the TEDC from inception through final construction of public infrastructure to serve the Business Park to include multiple construction packages, individually bid and simultaneously constructed.  Facilities constructed, both on-site and off-site included but were not limited to roadways, drainage systems, public water distribution, sanitary sewer, natural gas, pavement markings, traffic signalization, SW3P, TCP.

The GUNDA team coordinated with pipelines companies and governmental agencies to resolve contamination and conflict issues on the site which resulted in cost saving for the project.  Other cost savings for the project were achieved during construction through good working relationships with the Contractors to provide value engineering solutions.  As a result the project was completed below initial contract amounts and under budget.

Additionally, GUNDA assisted and continues to assist the TEDC with private utility coordination and installations for communication services, power distribution, street lighting, as well as development consultation with the TEDC, Broker, Attorney, and potential buyers.
